Interested in learning your way around our woodshop?

This Basic Use and Safety class goes over the usage and maintenance of the basic tools in the woodshop as well as common things you can do with them. This isn't a mastery class but will give a foundational knowledge of how to navigate the shop that you can build on.

In the class we'll go over:
- Miter Saw (aka Chop saw)
- Bandsaw
    - Which blade to use when
    - Changing the blade
    - Guides
- Router Table
    - Setup
    - Changing bits
    - Different kinds of cuts
- Drill Press
    - Basic operation
    - Changing the speed
    - Securing your piece
- Keeping the shop clean.
    - Dust collection systems
    - Changing vacuum bags
